After the retirement of the Nissan 300zx from the Japanese supercar
arena comes the all new 350 Z coupe, its Z- DNA profile has been
perfectly modified ensuring that like its Z predecessors it will
be assured its well deserved icon status.
Only available in Japan or the United States this strictly two seater
coupe is available in Automatic or six speed manual transmission
mated to a limited slip differential
Powered by a normally aspirated 3.5 litre 24 valve 4 cam V6 engine
that rattles out 287 bhp and takes it from 0 to 60mph in 5.4 seconds
and gives it a top speed electronically limited to 157 mph, that’s
essentially the same performance as Porsches Boxster S and that
costs over £40,000.
Available in four versions the Z gives drivers a choice of Luxury
or Sports trim and are all come with a selection of whistles and
bells including ‘Vehicle dynamic control’ ‘fly
by wire throttle’ ‘Climate control’ ‘heated
seats’ ’multi speaker Bose stereo’, the list goes
on.
Styling lines are distinctive, muscular and clean and the body is
adorned with automotive jewellery in the form of exotic Xenon headlamps,
cast aluminium door handles and rubesk taillights.
The
UK will only see this car in early 2004 and then only in limited
supply but already the British enthusiast can satisfy there urge
and achieve exclusivity by purchasing a specially imported Japanese
version.
The most popular version will be the Touring or ST
versions, the ST being the top of the range.
